Volunteer Opportunities
The Santa Monica volunteer program is community-driven initiative
that encourages residents to actively participate in improving their local
municipality. We offer diverse volunteer opportunities across various City of
Santa Monica operated programs. The program aims to harness the collective
power of volunteers to address community needs and enhance the overall quality
of life. Volunteers contribute their time, skills, and enthusiasm to a variety of initiatives such as
social services, education, animal support, environmental conservation, public
safety, and recreation. The City recognizes and appreciates the efforts of
the volunteers, and fosters a sense of
civic engagement and community pride, resulting in a stronger, more vibrant
municipality.
