The online registration application is only available to residents within the boundary of Los Angeles County.
You must be 18 or over. If you need to register a child or family member under the age of 18 please visit the library.
Approval using this form is not guaranteed and we may request you to visit the library to provide additional documentation.
Please complete the form below. All information must be accurate for online approval. If approved you will receive a digital library card number that you can use with our SMPL Mobile App just like a real card.
Outside of Los Angeles County? Not able to register online? No problem! Please visit one of our libraries and review "How to Get a Card" to apply in person.
