4th Street Enhancements Project Phase II

For this project, crews will be working on 4th St between Colorado Ave and Olympic Blvd to install new curb ramps, curb & gutters, crosswalks, paving, new fencing on the freeway bridge, streetlights along 4th St, traffic signal infrastructure, and new landscaping in the median and parkway areas. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times. Please use alternate routes whenever possible. Please note temporary sidewalk closures and detours where posted.

Schedule: Monday June 10, 2024 and Thursday June 13, 2024 (NO CLOSURES/WORK ON TUESDAY 6/11)

Work Hours: Mon-Thu 9am to 4pm

Location: 4th St between Colorado Ave and Olympic Blvd ,  (see the map below)

As part of the improvements, sidewalk repairs will be performed on 4^th Street between Colorado Ave and Olympic Dr-Blvd. in the northbound and southbound direction. Work will begin on Monday, June 10, 2024, and last approximately until Thursday June 13, 2024 (No closures/work on Tuesday 6/11) . During this time, there will be periodic single lane closures of Eastbound I-10 On-Ramp/Olympic Dr-Blvd, Northbound 4^th Street at SE corner of I-10 Off Ramp, and 4^th Street Southbound Left Turn Lane at I-10 On-Ramp. The traffic lanes will be reduced, and one side of the sidewalk will be closed at a time due to sidewalk repairs for the project.

Location: Westbound Civic Center Dr. at 4th St. (see the map below)

Beginning on the week of Monday June 10, 2024 for approximately 2 days, the northwest side of Civic Center Drive at 4^th Street will be closed while maintaining 1 lane open in each direction from Monday 6/10 10 AM until Thursday 6/13 3pm Tuesday 6/11 3 PM (No closures/work on Tuesday 6/11) for work relating to Roadway Patch Work for this project.
