Zoning Administrator Information and Agendas
The Zoning Administrator issues land use permits that are minor in nature and may adopt specific findings of fact to support the resulting decision, or require specific conditions. Some Zoning Administrator permits are administrative determinations, while others require a noticed public hearing.
The Zoning Administrator reviews and makes administrative determinations regarding:
- Interpretations
- Zoning Conformance
- Administrative Approvals
- Alcohol Exemptions
- Home Occupation Permits
- Performance Standards Permits
- Adjustments
- Yard Modification Permits
- Fence, Wall, and Hedge Modifications
The Zoning Administrator serves as the hearing officer and conducts public hearings to review and render decisions regarding certain discretionary permits, including:
- Variances
- Use Permits
- Reduced Parking Permits
- Fence, Wall, and Hedge Modifications
Decisions regarding these discretionary permits are not rendered during the public hearing. Following the hearing, the Zoning Administrator prepares a written decision to approve, conditionally approve, or deny the application.
