Emerging Author Spotlight: Charles Dubow and Book Group Open House at Santa Monica Public Library

Santa Monica, California – Santa Monica Public Library is pleased to present a special Book Group Open House, featuring a spotlight Author Talk with emerging novelist Charles Dubow on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Library’s Multipurpose Room, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
Representatives from most of the Santa Monica Public Library’s many monthly book groups will be attending this unique meet-and-greet style event, which veteran book group members and newcomers are all welcome to attend. Enjoy refreshments, meet the book group representatives to find out what they regularly read and where they meet, and find out if one of them might be a good fit for you.
In addition, the Open House features a special Author Talk with novelist Charles Dubow. Critically-acclaimed for his first novel, Indiscretion, Dubow discusses his just-released second novel, Girl in the Moonlight, the sweeping story of one man’s lifelong quest to win the love of a mesmerizing woman. A book sale and signing follows.
This program free and open to all ages. Seating is first come, first served. The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible. For special disabled services, call Library Administration at (310) 458-8606 at least one week prior to event. The Main Library is served by Big Blue Bus routes 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Ride your bike. Bicycle parking racks are available at the library.
