Santa Monica Public Library presents Keeping Your Brain Healthy

Santa Monica, California – Exercise your mind at this special event that kicks off the Adult Summer Reading series at SMPL on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Main Library's Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.

Brain health can be optimally maintained by eating well and staying active. In this session, various research findings related to aging well are explored. We will discuss steps we can take to reduce our risks for Alzheimer’s disease.

This event kicks off the 2016 Adult Summer Reading series Exercise Your Mind at SMPL with author talks, concerts, movie screenings, and more. Register for the program at any SMPL location beginning June 11, then turn in your completed form by August 20 to be eligible to win prizes for your summer reading activities.
