Annie Jacobsen presents Phenomena at Santa Monica Public Library

Santa Monica, California – Santa Monica Public Library is pleased to present investigative journalist and Santa Monica-based author Annie Jacobsen for a discussion of her newest book Phenomena at the Main Library, 601 Santa Monica Blvd., on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.

Beginning with her first book (Area 51: An Uncensored History of America’s Top Secret Military Base), Pulitzer Prize finalist and Santa Monica resident Annie Jacobsen has debuted each of her revealing exposés of government secrets (Operation Paperclip: The Secret Intelligence Program That Brought Nazi Scientists to America and The Pentagon’s Brain: An Uncensored History of DARPA) at Santa Monica Public Library. Now she returns to celebrate the debut of her fourth book, Phenomena, a history of the U.S. government’s secret investigations into extrasensory perception and psychokinesis. A book sale and signing follows the author’s presentation.  

 This program is free.  Seating is limited and on a first arrival basis.  The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible.
