Santa Monica Public Library Presents Tap Your Troubles Away: The History of Tap Dancing

Santa Monica, California – Santa Monica Public Library presents the Diane Davisson Dancers in Tap Your Troubles Away: The History of Tap on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
The Diane Davisson Dancers tap into classic American tunes, in a multi-media show featuring master tapper/author/archivist Rusty Frank and legendary Hollywood dancer/choreographer Miriam Nelson. Rusty and Miriam share stories and video clips from the Golden Age of movie musicals. A book and DVD sale and signing follows the program.
This program is free and open to all ages. Seating is limited and on a first arrival basis. The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible.
