New Digital Guide Highlights Fall Recreation Activities

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Santa Monica Community Recreation gears up for the fall season with the release of a new edition of RecScape (santamonica.gov/recscape) - a digital guide to Community Recreation activities. A variety of youth and adult classes in aquatics, sports, arts and crafts, music, dance, language and more are available at park, beach and aquatics facilities across Santa Monica. Class options cater to all skill levels and age groups across all disciplines.
GET ACTIVE with classes at the Annenberg Community Beach House, GET IN THE WATER with youth swim lessons at the Santa Monica Swim Center, GET SPORTY and drop in for an adult soccer pick-up game, or GET A SPACE at one of our park meeting rooms and enjoy a BBQ in one of our City's parks.
Important registration dates for classes include a priority period for Santa Monica residents, where locals receive the first priority to reserve their favorite classes. Resident registration will begin online on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 6 a.m. Non-residents will be able to register beginning Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 6 a.m. The first day of fall recreation programs is Monday, September 10, 2018.
