Plant an Herbalicious Garden
January 5, 2021 2:35 PM
Learn something new in the new year! Santa Monica Public Library presents a program for kids ages 6 to 11, “Plant an Herbalicious Garden,” on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. via Zoom. An expert from the Santa Monica Community Gardens shows kids how to start their own garden, perfect for a windowsill or patio. Budding gardeners will need to gather a few supplies; a four inch or larger pot, any type of soil, one to four types of seeds, and seed markers. Tip, eat 4 popsicles and save those sticks for seed markers. There will also be lots of information in the program that folks without supplies can enjoy and learn from. This free program is co-sponsored with the Office of Sustainability and the Environment. Register via Zoom
