The City is supporting the shift to electric vehicles (EVs) by offering rebates to install EV charging stations through the Electrify Santa Monica Rebate Program. Up to $1,000 is available to help residents of multi-family buildings (3 or more units) and small businesses install chargers. Low-income applicants are eligible for up to $3,000, which covers the full cost of most residential EV charger installations. Rebates may be applied to both the charging equipment and installation costs. The maximum rebate per building is $5,000.
