Recycled Water Pipeline Project

The City of Santa Monica has contracted with Blois Construction, to install new pipeline and expand the recycled water distribution system in the City. The construction will occur on Cloverfield Boulevard from Olympic Boulevard to Santa Monica Boulevard and on Santa Monica Boulevard from Cloverfield Boulevard to 21st Street. 

Construction is anticipated to begin in September 2023 and last approximately 8 months. There will be traffic, detours, and parking impacts and the operation of heavy equipment necessary to construct this project will create intermittent loud noise. 

The initial work will consist of utility investigations in September 2023 throughout the project limits, then the construction of the new pipeline will start in October 2023 and will go through August 2024 in phases. Please note that the start and completion times/dates of the construction may change due to unforeseen conditions and weather.
