- “Human | nature” showcases artists inspired by tensions in our environment such as climate change, homelessness, and natural disasters. Featuring: Luchita Hurtado’s exhibition, Luis Alfaro as Writer-in-Residence at the Annenberg Community Beach House and Kelly Berg’s exhibition at the Craig Krull Gallery at 26th Street Art Center.
- “Bodies” features musicians, choreographers, and artists using dance, sound, and sports to question our boundaries, body politics and expectations of genres. Featuring String Theory’s performance as part of Meet Me at Reed, Jay Carlon’s performance for the Beach Dances at the Annenberg Community Beach House, and
Astria Suparak and Brett Kashmere’s exhibition and publication launch at 18th Street Art Center. - “The
santa monica pier” introduces Jim Harris and Negin Singh telling the story of the Santa Monica Pier’s historical role as one of Santa Monica’s premier destinations for arts and culture, and the new vision of the outdoor music festival Twilight on the Pier and its diverse offerings of world music, as represented by Sister Mantos.

- “IndieCade” drops you into the middle of the international independent gaming festival, IndieCade, which the LA Times has called the “the video game industry's Sundance” at Santa Monica College Center for Media and Design on October 11-13.
- “Memento mori” explores the rich cultural traditions of Dia de
los Muertos as celebrated by Santa Monica residents, juxtaposed with artists using humor and kitsch to engage in motifs of mortality.
