Dragon Night Pajama Storytime at Fairview Branch Library
February 19, 2019 3:49 PM
Santa Monica, California – Join us for a very special Pajama Story Time with author and illustrator J.R. Krause as he reads and draws characters from his new book, Dragon Night. This free event takes place at the Fairview Branch Library on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
Dragon Night is the story of Georgie, a little boy who is afraid of the night, and his dragon friend, who is afraid of the knight. Together, they set out on a journey to overcome their fears. J.R. Krause has crafted a beautiful tale of friendship and a willingness to help others, and we're excited to share the author and his book with local children. This free 45-minute program includes the story time, a demonstration by Krause how to draw his characters, and a craft that young children will enjoy. Children are welcome and encouraged to attend in their pajamas. This program is intended for children ages 3-8, and seating is available on a first come, first served basis. A book sale and signing will follow J.R. Krause's presentation.
The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair-accessible. For special disabled services, call Library Administration at (310) 458-8681 at least one week prior to event. The Fairview Library is served by Big Blue Bus routes 8, 16, and 44. Ride your bike. Bicycle parking racks are available at the library.
