Take A Moment: An Unplugged Event

Take A Moment: an unplugged series of free all-ages events focused on healing and community. Enjoy offline space designed for you to be in solitude or in community while you read, knit, draw, write, play games, color, or browse the book collection curated and donated by Friends of the Santa Monica Library. Offerings for the day include:

11:30 AM – 12:30PM – BREATH WORK & MOVEMENT WITH SUPERBLOOM COLLECTIVE

Super Bloom Collective is dedicated to making wellness and human connection more accessible.

1 - 2 PM - CAMERA OBSCURA ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE – FLORA KAO

Art making that fosters healing through color and symbology.

3 – 5 PM – INTERACTIVE THEATRE WITH CAPITAL W

Capital W is a radical theater collaboration that creates experiential art. They open portals to fundamental aspects of the Human Experience to create a more compassionate world. Pushing beyond the boundaries of what is considered theater, story, and art into a realm of experience and feeling their work is a collaboration with their artists and audiences.
