How Residents and Employees Can Obtain Downtown Monthly Structure Parking

Downtown monthly parking permits are available to residents living in the area bounded by California Ave, Lincoln Blvd., Pico Blvd and Ocean Ave, including east/west sides of Lincoln Blvd. and north/south sides of California Ave and Pico Blvd.  You must live in a building with no available parking onsite.

Employees of a commercial establishment located in the area bounded by California Ave, Lincoln Blvd, Pico Blvd and Ocean Ave, including east/west side of Lincoln Blvd and the north/south sides of Pico Blvd. are also eligible for a monthly parking permit. 

Permits allow you to park in Structures 2, 4-6 and 9 and are subject to availability.  For a map, click here

  1. Initial Inquiry

    Email Gabriela Vazquez at gbazquez@spplus.com for your initial inquiry to see if you're eligible and to find out what lots are available.

  2. Gather Your Documents

    Residents will be asked to provide the following:

    - Valid government-issued ID (driver's license/ID, passport, etc.)

    - Current proof of residency (fully executed lease or a current utility, cable, wi-fi, bank or credit card bill)

    - Proof that there is no on-site parking available in your building  (please note, we will verify this information)

    Employees will be asked to provide the following:

    - Valid government-issued ID (driver's license/ID, passport, etc.).

    - Current proof of employment (paycheck stub, letter from employer on company letterhead, business card).

  3. APPROVAL

    Once approved, you will be emailed monthly guidelines and a contract.  Monthly parking can be paid online through a portal with all major credit cards or ACH. If you prefer to pay by check, you'll need to mail to our lockbox which may take up to ten days.  

    Please note, there is a non-refundable $10 administrative fee for all new key cards.   If you lose or damage your keycard,  there is a $10 administrative fee to replace. We require 30 days notice to cancel.

  4. Location and Hours of Operation

    You will be notified when your keycard is ready for pick up.

    We are located in the GoSaMo Center at 1444 4th St., Santa Monica, on the street level of Parking Structure 5. We offer 90 minutes of free parking. When you enter the building, please pull a ticket for Parking and then Downtown Monthly Parking Permit.

    Hours of operation are:  Mondays thru Thursdays from 8:30 to 11:30 am and 1:00 to 3:00 pm.  We are closed Fridays.
