How to Renew Your Community Garden Permit
2023/2024 Garden Permit Renewals
FOR the 2022-2023 Growing Season, the online system is via the Citizens Portal. All current gardeners have been contacted regarding their account. There will be no change to your assigned garden plot or garden status. Utilizing Citizens Portal, community gardeners will be able to quickly make payments online, updated their information and review permit details.

Please submit a photocopy of your State Issued ID and Proof of Residency in the form of a utility bill, lease agreement or mortgage. Submit to gardens@santamonica.gov. Include your Garden Plot # in the message.
Once we have verified residency, you will be sent an invoice along with instructions on how to remit payment. Payment is due within 30 days of receiving your invoice.
