eBooks and Library Apps

The Library offers 24/7 access to a suite of e-resources for all ages, including eBooks, streaming and downloadable audiobooks, music, movies, and more. To get started, you will need a Santa Monica Public Library card and an email. 

Download the SMPL Mobile app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to search the Santa Monica Public Library's collection of books, audiobooks, music, and videos. You can also place holds, check your due dates, renew items, and get availability information, anytime and anywhere. Note: The App may not show all of our digital content.
