Main Street Community Garden

This is our oldest, and largest, Community Garden.  Built in 1976, this site currently has 75 plots which are rented out by Santa Monica Residents.  Gardeners are allowed to plant and grow based on their own personal tastes, following a set of guidelines establish in collaboration with garden leaders and City staff.

On the 2nd Saturday of each month, the Main St. Gardeners host an Open house and unlock all gates from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM to offer residents and visitors a regular opportunity to enjoy the gardens.
