The Virginia Avenue Park Advisory Board (VAPAB) serves as an advisory body to the Recreation and Parks Commission and the Director of Housing and Human Services Department.


The VAPAB is composed of seven Santa Monica resident board members. The Board represents the social and ethnic diversity of the park's neighborhood and includes but is not limited to representatives of the following segments of the community: park users, park neighbors, park program participants, seniors, families with children, community organizations and older youth.

Members

There is currently one (1) seat available.  The City of Santa Monica is currently accepting applications for the vacancy.  Applicants must reside in Santa Monica and shall not hold paid office with or be employed by City government.

Meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Thelma Terry Building at Virginia Avenue Park.

Agendas are available 72 hours before Regular meetings, or 24 hours before Special Meetings.
