Candidate Statement in English

I am a renter, businessperson, veteran, and Chair of the Santa Monica Pier Board. As a new-generation leader, I am fighting for Santa Monica’s future: a safe, affordable, and inclusive community for all.

My public service began at West Point. As a decorated pilot and Army commander, I deployed to Iraq, managed $300 million in assets, and brought all of my soldiers home safely. At the Pier, I support economic recovery and public safety initiatives to help get our city back on its feet. In my career, I launched the world’s largest EV fleet to cut carbon emissions, and now coach executives to lead equitable businesses.

My priorities:

Clean streets and safe neighborhoods. Everyone deserves to feel safe in our downtown, parks, streets, and schools.

Housing affordability. We must protect vulnerable renters to prevent homelessness, halt skyrocketing construction costs, and invest in affordable housing for our workforce.

Good government. I will bring transparency, accountability, efficiency, innovation, and ethics to City Council.

I am endorsed by Assemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur, former Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, and over 45 Santa Monica officials, including eight former mayors and Councilmembers Gleam Davis, Caroline Torosis, and Jesse Zwick.

I would be honored to earn your vote.
