Phil Brock is a proud Santa Monica native with a lifelong love for our city. He attended local schools, played in our parks, and body-surfed our waves. With a solid education from SMC, UCLA, and LMU, he's been a renter, homeowner, teacher, and businessman deeply rooted in Santa Monica. NOW, Phil Brock is our MAYOR. 


Phil’s commitment to Proven Leadership is unparalleled: almost 18 years as a volunteer Recreation & Parks Commissioner/ Chair and Arts Commissioner. His leadership extends to Kiwanis, Elks, Lions, Rotary, Salvation Army, and Samohi Alumni President. Brock championed resident concerns in "Brock on Your Block" and the Santa Monica Mirror
