Seed Saving Workshop and Seed ID Challenge
My tomatoes are red, my watermelon sweet, if I want to grow them again, saving their seeds would be real neat.
Come join our monthly garden party and hear from our Master Gardeners about the joy of saving seeds. Flowers and vegetables alike, if you want to regrow those calendulas or start one of those delicious Black Krim Tomatoes next season, we'll discuss dry and wet seed harvesting, drying and storage tips.
Participate in our SEED ID CHALLENGE, and see who among your group is the seed whisperer.
Ishihara Park Learning Gardens hosts a Community Event the third Saturday of each month. It's an opportunity to pick up some gardening tips, get your hands dirty and have a cup of coffee or garden pancake with some good people.
Seed Saving starts at 10:00 AM.
